Searching Sincerity

Random. Kott. Takdelah random sangat.

I like stage performances.
But there's one little question.
Sincere or not?

Like if someone acts as a person who have sinned a lot,
and now, wants to repent, regret their actions..
Do that person feel the act? Or is it just pure acting?

Like if someone sings a song,
A song that reminds us of the right path,
The right way of life,
Do that person feel the meaning of the song,
Try to convey the message to the audience,
Or just sing to say "Hey, I've got a nice voice".

Like when competing,
Do we want to just win,
Or strive for the benefits of the competition?

Like when a friend sarcastically tell you off,
When you did something wrong,
Is it a friend's love,
Or a friend loving to hurt you?

Like when sorry is uttered,
Is it seeking apology,
Or seeking for an easy way out?

Honestly, I don't know what's in other's heart.
But the best I can do,
Is Husnuzh Zhan.
Positive Thinking.
Berbaik Sangka.

O you who believed, avoid much (negative) assumption.
Indeed, some assumption is sin.
And do not spy or backbite each other.
Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother?
You would detest it. And fear Allah, indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful.
Al Hujurat : 12

But as a reminder to everyone and myself,

Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice,
my living and my dying are only for Allah,
the Lord of all that exists".
Al An'am : 162

As Kak Kira often remind me,
"Teach our heart to do everything for Allah" (:

Sincerity is beautiful.

you can never completely tell what's inside. although we may think we're sincere, there's always a part of us that's not.
just because that is the case, it doesnt necessarily mean that our acts are not gonna be accepted by Allah.

it is impossible to say that we fast 100% because of allah. there's a part that wants to lose weight, there's a part that wants to save money. but at the end of the day, God understands. it's just plain human. we're ok as long as we have Him as a part of those goals. =D

Well what can I say? This one good piece :)

One thing I always remind myself on why I should bersangka baik; I JUST WANT TO BE HAPPY :D

Dan bersangka baik pun boleh jadi kunci kebahagiaan dalam diri. :)

Salam.

nice written. insyaAllah, moga kita semua diberi taufik dan hidayahNya.

yes, we surely don't know how sincere people around us really are, or in your case, those who were on the stage. if they didnt, just hope that one day, mereka kembali kepada fitrah.

have you heard this?
"FAKE IT TO MAKE IT?"

some people need a very long time to find the truth, to find the right way. they've to go through a very tough journey. What we can do is doa. always pray for them .

remember what Rasullah did? :)

yusri : trueee. it's very very hard to do everything 100% for Allah. the complexity of the mind and the wants of human, just always wants a lot of things simultaneously. but it's good to always remind ourself to be sincere. everything cones from the heart. baik hati, baiklah semuanya. (:
